ROC Penalty for Multiple Years & Forms

Computing ROC penalty across multiple years and forms means totalling one row per financial-year-and-form combination — for example, 4 years of AOC-4, MGT-7 and ADT-1 default is 12 rows, totalling roughly ₹5,68,200 for this scenario.

One row per year, per form — never a shortcut multiplication

Multiplying one year's penalty by the number of unfiled years understates the true figure, because each year's forms have different due dates relative to today and therefore different days-delayed counts — the earliest unfiled year has accrued far more days of penalty than the most recent one. The only correct method is to compute each financial-year-and-form combination as its own row, with its own due date derived from that year's AGM, and sum the individual amounts.

For example, four years of AOC-4, MGT-7 and ADT-1 all unfiled together is twelve separate rows (3 forms × 4 years), which for this scenario totals roughly ₹5,68,200 computed against today's date — a figure that changes daily as more penalty accrues on every still-unfiled row.

Mixing forms with different verification status

A real backlog often mixes confirmed ₹100/day-no-cap forms (AOC-4, MGT-7, ADT-1, the LLP forms) with forms whose penalty amount isn't confirmed to a quotable standard (DPT-3, MSME-1) — the correct approach is to total only the confirmed forms and note the unverified ones separately, rather than guessing at a combined figure that includes an unconfirmed number.

The calculator below implements exactly this: select every applicable form for the entity type, and it computes a grand total from the confirmed forms only, with unverified forms shown alongside but excluded from the total and flagged for confirmation.
